Ang polluted asphalt-colored smelly water supplied by the Pandi Water Districts for 

more or less a year now. 

Sa darating na panahon (sa year 20??) ay mawawala na rin ang problema sa tubig ng mga taga Pandi. Ang problema sa tubig sa Pandi ay matutugunan ng Bulacan Bulk Water Supply Project. Kaunting tiis na lang po at mga ilang taon ay makakainom at makakagamit na kayo ng malinis na tubig mula sa BBWSP.  (Cross your finger)

The BBWSP aims to address the water supply requirements of municipalities in the province of Bulacan, thereby reducind the ground water extraction and use of deep wells which are being discouraged due to adverse environmental impact. The project intends to supply treated bulk water to water districts in Bulacan province through the construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities for abstraction, treatment, and conveyance of treated bulk water supply.

Project Description

Supply of treated bulk water to the entire Province of Bulacan throught its water districts as per MOA signed on July 2012 between MWSS and the Province of Bulacan.

Project Cost:

Phase ` & 2 =  Php   9.64 B

Phase 3       =  Php 14.80 B

Total           =  Php  24,44 B

Funding Source:

PPP (design and built contract

Status : (as of 30 June 2016)

*  Groundbreaking ceremony was held on 15 April 2016 attended by the President.

*  Detailed Engineering Design (DED), financial close, and permits acquisitio are on=going 

    (Note:  the notice to Proceed will be issued after the completion of financial close)

*  Continuing coordination with the water districts on the preferred delivery / interconnection point.
